The Beatin' Path Classical Collection

includes:

Turkish March - Ludwig Van Beethoven

Can Can - Jacques Offenbach

Fur Elise - Ludwig Van Beethoven

Eine Kleine Nachtmusik - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

Fossils from “Carnival of the Animals” - Camille Saint-Saëns

William Tell Overture - Gioachino Rossini.

The Beatin’ Path Classical Collection presents the music of the masters in challenging pieces for your upper elementary, middle school, or beginning high school percussion ensemble students. This new 6-part series contains arrangements that are sparkling and fresh, staying very close to the original works. Jane Lamb has captured both the enchantment of the original and the freshness of the mallet percussion instruments while making these classics accessible to percussion ensembles in upper elementary, middle school and high school.

The arrangements include parts for full-sized marimbas and chromatic or diatonic Orff instruments. The chromatic instruments play the melody lines and the diatonic instruments provide the accompaniment. The diatonic parts for the Orff instruments are doublings of other parts and not needed when played by a middle school or high school percussion ensemble.

Each piece contains a full director's score, teaching suggestions, and individual copy-ready instrument parts.
