Patrick, Just a note to follow up with you after the awesome Orff Training in Miami, FL on Nov. 7th, 2009. I am the person that took a photo w/you (smile). I was so very much inspired by the Orff training with you. I went home and was motivated to write a few chants. Later, I took photos of the rhythm instruments my students use most. I work with students demonstrating the most significant Intellectual Disabilities (formerly know and Profoundly Mentally Handicapped) and students with Autism Spectrum Disorders. After taking photos and writing a script, I put a presentation together using Windows Movie Maker. The students just loved it! I wanted to share it with you. Over the Holiday Break, I will brainstorm about other things to photograph and write chants about that the students will enjoy.
