Mr. Holl will be teaching at Virginia Commonwealth University this summer (2009). Adult students from as far away as Florida, New Jersey, and even Japan, will come to take certification classes in Orff Schulwerk. Mr. Holl will be teaching the Basic Orff Level 2. The recorder classes well be taught by Paul Bakeman. Special topics classes this year will be taught by the staff.

Each year this conference is Mr. Holl's school. He attends classes and seminars to find out what is new and exciting the field of music that he can bring home to share with his students. This year Mr. Holl attended led the Virginia Highlands Chapter Marimba Band during the opening session and helped with the sessions led by Jon Madin from Australia.

Mr. Holl plays guitar, octave mandolin, whistle, bohran, string bass and sings in a traditional Irish band named Shen Fine. He can be found leading an open session at the Daily Grind in Harrisonburg, Virginia most Mondays and also plays concerts and festivals in the local area.
