Amy Brown is Assistant Professor of Music Education, Pedagogy and Practice at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). She earned a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Asbury University and a Master of Music with an Orff concentration from UNLV. With over 25 years of teaching experience, Amy now teaches elementary music methods courses and supervises student teachers during their elementary general music placements. She is an active presenter at local, state, and national conferences on a wide range of music education topics. A past president of the Nevada Desert Valley Chapter of the American Orff Schulwerk Association (AOSA), Amy now serves as Course Director for UNLV’s annual Orff Levels Certification Classes.
